Travel Purpose: leisure

Positive: The casa was very good. But unfortunatly the weather was terrible wet and cold, which was very unusual. ( we have stayed in El Berro at the same time of year before and it has been very good weather ) this meant that we needed to use the open fire as well as electic heaters. Jesus the owner kindly brought us extra wood Ubfortunatly due to the huge storms over 2 days the house began to flood. Jesus came again from Alhama de Murcia to try and stop the water getting in. He had to drive up to the village with terrential rain and some mud and rockfalls on tge road up and very poor visibility. As the house was going to remain damp, even though the worst of the flood was stopped with a barrier. Jesus suggested that even though we were booked for 2 weeks we could cut short our stay and be refunded. Jesus organised this with Booking com

Negative: The exceptionally bad weather. We couldent find a chopping board abd were afraid of cutting the worksurfaces in the kutchen when cutting neat and vegetables.
